Caffenol workshop at St Pauls Darkrooms, September 1st

August 19, 2012

I’m pleased to announce I will be holding a day long workshop at St Pauls darkrooms on Saturday 1st September.

The workshop will be exploring alternative and experimental photographic techniques  based on objects you might find in the back of your cupboard.

During the workshop you will not only learn how to assemble a working camera but also how to develop the photos it produces using a home made developer consisting of coffee and vitamin C powder.

Some of the materials you will be using during the workshop are:

. Beer cans

. Instant coffee

. Washing Soda

. Red wine

. Spinach

. Vitamin c

. Vinegar

Here are some examples of the kind of work possible to produce using just these ingredients.

The workshop aims to educate and inspire in various methods of experimental and organic photography.

Complete beginners are more than welcome.
